Located at the center of the Western Ridge community, the Clubhouse was once the original farm house for the land on which the neighborhood was built. Built in 1858, it is a beautiful reminder of our central Virginia's rich agricultural history.

Today, the Clubhouse serves as meeting place for our HOA meetings, as a rentable venue for homeowner events, and as homebase for many community events and celebrations.

The Western Ridge pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and is the summer hub for neighborhood fun. Pool membership is included in the homeowner's association fee, and guests are welcome. While the pool is swim-at-your-own-risk, a team of lifeguard's is often on duty to ensure the safety of all swimmers.

The Western Ridge playground sits adjacent to the pool and clubhouse and is open to all neighborhood children. With recently-update equipment, the playground features a climbing tower with multiple platforms and two large slides, a see-saw, a swingset, and several benches for parents and caretakers. Soft mulch forms a perfect base for long afternoons of play.

The Western Ridge exercise and weight room is available to all homeowners. The room features cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, an eliptical machine, a stair machine, and several stationary bikes. Weight equipment includes a multi-station, 4-rack system, as well as a large collection of free weights and weight benches.

Western Ridge is surrounded by miles of natural hiking trails, all part of the Crozet greenway trails system that connects many local neighborhoods with Crozet's natural resources. Adjacent to the Western Ridge Pool you will find a picnic pavilion and fire pit - perfect for a peaceful night of friendly conversation under the stars! The picnic pavilion features two wooden picnic tables and a large propane grill, and the fire pit area is lined with pavers. Wood fuel is available for homeower use.

Western Ridge is home to a beautiful pond, providing homeowners ample opportunity for fishing while serving as a home for resident water fowl. Drop in with a canoe to fish, or simply cast your line from the shore!
