Our History

Western Ridge is located on the original property of Leslie and Lady Walton, who were prominent local educators. After her husband's death in 1970, and her subsequent retirement from teaching, Lady Walton continued to operate the family's cattle farm. Eventually the farm was leased out, and the land was ultimately acquired by local developer Hunter Craig. Hunter developed the Western Ridge neighborhood in the late 1990s, and his vision continues to grow as the neighborhood is a sought-after residential area.
